ABOUT STUART

With  over 25 years of experience as a casting director, Stuart realized that many actors were not booking jobs simply because they didn’t know how to audition. That’s why he decided to develop the “Keys to Acting” workshops to help actors of all levels learn the current techniques to have memorable audition and book the job.

Stuart has cast projects for companies such as: Burger King, Walgreens, Kidz Bop, Nike, Subway, Honda, Microsft and many more. He has an industry insider’s understanding of what  you need to know to be a working actor. With offices in LA and Denver, Stuart Stone Casting continues to be one of the most highly respected  coaches and  casting companies around.

To assist students Stuart include introductions to agents, managers, and casting directors. The Studio also provides personal counseling in resume writing, interviewing, and presentation skills.

INSTRUCTOR/CAMERA: MATT

Matt Sweetenham joined Stuart Stone Casting Colorado in 2016 as a session director and quickly moved up to Casting Associate. Originally from the UK, he has played on stages such as the Royal Albert Hall and Salisbury Cathedral and appeared on British television as a child. He has been recognized with an A star at GCSE level drama from the UK as well as a Bachelors degree in cinema from Metro State Univ. in Colorado.

Matt is also a cinematographer and, editor on many independent film projects with various production companies. He loves to share his knowledge of the medium with young students. He has taught many children acting workshops and has helped design curriculum for kids’ filmmaking programs.

Matt is also on the casting team for Kidz Bop. He has a way that helps kids discover their natural ability to act.

Matt is one of those special people that has a kind and nurturing personality that allows kids to develop better self-confidence, leadership and personal development along with learning how to properly act for TV, Film and commercials.
